The Kirk will “oppose vigorously” any Scottish Executive moves to water down the revised stipulation on observance in primaries. The national review group suggests bringing the frequency of observance in primaries and secondaries into line with the current secondary recommendation.

Outside of that criticism, the review group report is said to offer “a sensible way forward” and resolves the difficulties faced by schools and chaplains.
