The Platform article by Richard Daugherty about the lack of consultation, thought and reasoning behind the proposed national curriculum for teacher training almost sounds like moaning.

We should be more positive in these political times.

Why not insist that all politicians who have anything to contribute to education debates in the House should be tested to ensure that they are at least level 8 in all curriculum areas? Those who aspire to the education front bench should reach higher levels.
