(Photograph) - Dunino primary near St Andrews believes it is the first Scottish mainland school to be awarded permanent “eco status” in recognition of its environmental dedication (the only other three are all in Shetland). The school’s latest venture was a plastic bottle greenhouse, completed over a weekend in March with the help of lemonade and water bottles. The greenhouse is now used to grow plants and vegetables.
