After the G8 summit, most teenagers will be aware of arguments about the future of the planet. Shout About Climate Change is a resource pack for key stage 3 pupils that aims to bring facts, opinions and ideals into forceful combination. There are four sections: a definition of climate change, an analysis of its effects, an account of proposed solutions, and a discussion of what individuals can do. Assembly outlines and lesson plans suggest how students can investigate the origins of CO2 emissions, survey energy use in their own environment, and think about their own responsibility for change. The pack can be ordered from Friends of the Earth.
