Television presenter and architect Maxwell Hutchinson has been hired to convert Christopher Wren’s unused St Nicholas Cole Abbey, near St Paul’s in London, into a national centre for religious education.
The Culham institute, the Church of England educational body, behind the plan, says it needs to raise pound;4million in the next 12 months to fund the project.
