Perth High school won the Bank of Scotland Scottish Senior Football Shield with a 4-2 win over Edinburgh’s St Augustine’s High at Hampden.

The Edinburgh school led 1-0 at half-time, thanks to an early strike by Kevin Tomnsley. Craig Innes equalised for Perth with a header after 60 minutes.Thomas Kelly put St Augustine’s back in front from a free-kick but Perth finished the stronger team. Scott Lafferty equalised, then Scottish school international Sean Birrell put Perth ahead and Marc Caldow scored the final goal to take the Shield out of St Augustine’s High’s reach.
