It’s going to be impossible to ignore football this summer, so teachers should make the most of it. Football Datafile contains thousands of results from the English Premiership, internationals and every match played so far in World Cup history. Using the software Junior Viewpoint, children can use this information in countless ways, such as matching the performances of different teams or comparing home and away successes, and they’ll soon realise that accurate opinions must respect the facts. Football Datafile (with other databases) can be downloaded free www.logo.comjuniorviewpoint in association with the software Junior Viewpoint (pound;59) or Viewpoint (pound;109).
