A total of 1,600 footballers have achieved an advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence qualification since the League Football Education (LFE) began five years ago. A report by the LFE shows a 92 per cent apprentice retention rate and apprenticeship graduation rates 24 per cent above the national average.
