During National Vegetarian Week, June 26-July 2, The Vegetarian Society will be encouraging schools to try out meat-free meals with the help of a free teacher’s pack, ‘Veggies on the Move’. It comprises information, easy recipes and meal plans, posters and classroom activities. The Society also loans videos, and has a national network of experienced speakers and a virtual schoolroom at www.vegsoc.org. This contains a primary project pack and GCSE resources.
