Riverside Explorer, an interactive key stage 2 and 3 CD-Rom plus teacher’s and pupils’ notes from the Environment Agency, is designed for the geography, science and information and communication technology components of the new national curriculum. It includes modules on: river habitat surve of England and Wales (over 4,500 sites); how rivers shape the land; river wildlife habitats; and practise a “virtual” river survey.
