A free apple a day keeps ...

Infants will be quizzed on how much fruit they eat in a pound;500,000 study which aims to find out whether children enjoy getting free fruit at school. Researchers from the Nuffield Institute, University of Leeds, will use tick-list food diaries and questionnaires to see if giving four to seven-year-olds a free piece of fruit every day is making a long-term difference to eating habits.
