Pauline Clark is the headteacher of a pupil referral unit in Milton Keynes.

For almost a decade Pauline has run this 85-place split-site unit for secondary age pupils. The children, aged 12-16, range from excluded pupils to those with long term illnesses and school phobia. Nominated for our bouquet by all the staff and students at Fenny House - one of the two sites - Pauline is said to be the only full-imer holding the fort while her deputy is on sick leave. “We think she is brilliant and that she deserves recognition for all her hard work.”

Please send the name of your Friday Hero - and why he or she should get a bouquet - to Sarah Bayliss, TES Friday, Admiral House, 66-68 East Smithfield, London E1W 1BX or e-mail her at sarah.bayliss@tes.co.uk. Flowers kindly supplied by Marks and Spencer
