Even more impressive in the size stakes is Fujitsu’s HandyDrive Data Edition (pound;150), which packs 100Gb of storage into a box the size of a packet of Panatellas. It’s light and pocketable and will be the envy of anyone who has to carry large amounts of data, for example teachers working with digital video. Just plug it into a USB 2 port of a PC or a Mac and you’re in business. There’s not much more to say, other than, “I want one.”

But it you were feeling grumpy you might ask why it doesn’t have a FireWire connector for faster data transfer. But you already know the answer - there are more people out there with USB than FireWire.
