The funeral was due to take place today in Cheshire of a north Wales schoolgirl killed in a holiday jetski accident in Cyprus.
Hannah Sutton, 16, died in hospital at the resort of Pissouri, on August 2, after she was hit by a jetski driven by her boyfriend James Dudley, also 16. Both teenagers were pupils at the private pound;2,600-plus-a-term Rydal Penrhos school in Colwyn Bay, north Wales.
School principal Michael James said Hannah was a popular and talented girl, expected to get good GCSEs: “She had a wonderful future ahead. We are devastated.”
Hannah was planning to take A-levels at St John’s middle school, at the British army basein Episkopi, where her mother is a teacher.
Earlier this week, James was fined more than pound;2,000 by a court in Cyprus after admitting causing the death of his girlfriend.
