The British Plastics Federation has organised a series of five-day residential polymer study tours, designed to help teachers cover the “polymer” element of the national curriculum. Paid for by industrial sponsors, they include talks by senior industrialists and practical work in process laboratories. Venues are: Queen’s University, Belfast (June 9), Brunel University, Uxbridge (June 30), Trowbridge College, Wiltshire (June 30), and Manchester Metropolitan University (July 7).
