Galleries seek younger audience

A new programme has been launched to encourage more young people to visit art galleries. The scheme, run by Engage, an association for arts and education professionals, hopes to persuade galleries to put on exhibitions that will appeal to children. Amber Walls, Engage development co-ordinator, said: “Very few young people visit art galleries independently.”
