TWELVE teachers have been elected to the General Teaching Council for Wales. A further 13 members will be nominated by the unions, education interest groups and the ational Assembly. Gary Brace, assistant chief executive of the country’s Qualifications, Curriculum and Assessment Authority, will be its chief executive.
