Horrible histories and amazing art

The Birmingham Stage Company and the National Portrait Gallery are bringing history alive with the Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain show and study day for pupils aged 6-13.

The day begins at the National Portrait Gallery, where pupils will look at portraits of Guy Fawkes and Florence Nightingale and consider what they tell them about the subjects’ lives. In the afternoon, pupils will see Fawkes and Nightingale in action in the Barmy Britain show.
