In response to continuing demand for modern languages in primary schools, the Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research has organised a one-day conference on November 18 at the Oxford Comenius Centre. “First Steps to Language Learning” will give teachers, policy-makers, advisers and trainers an opportunity to consider different approaches to languages in the primary curriculum.
