Factory-style schooling must be challenged in order to create a fully personalised learning system, education innovators Futurelab said.

Their study, Towards Learning Networks, questions the notion of a single teacher standing in front of a class and suggests that educators need to think outside the classroom and exploit the resources and expertise of the wider community.
