Primary pupils in East Ayrshire are to draw on ways to think first, developed across the Irish Sea.
The authority is to adapt the Activating Children’s Thinking Skills (Acts) programme pioneered at Queen’s University in Belfast and now used across Northern Ireland.
Fifteen P5 teachers will be the first to be trained in the thinking skills programme and will travel to see it first-hand.
