The refurbished Brockhole Environmental Education Centre on the shores of Lake Windermere, Cumbria, offers a free full-day course, “What about water?”, to local primary schools. The centre’s facilities include two floors of interactive exhibits telling the story of the Lake District’s landscape, wildlife, traditions and culture, and a film theatre.
