Girls’ rugby wins the day

Girls at Kettlethorpe High School in Wakefield have become enthusiastic about tag rugby since a West Yorkshire initiative offered coaching to schools. Here, Kettlethorpe (in blue and green) are playing Thomas A Beckett School in a fun day event at Wakefield Rugby Club. Many of girls who’ve got involved were not interested in sport before, but now they want to set up a women’s team at Wakefied RFC.
