Back in February, the deputy head of Arbour Vale special school in Slough, Mike Griffith, launched Global Leap, the video conferencing directory for schools. To mark the launch of the online directory, the school organised a worldwide 16-hour video-conferencing session that included Tony Blair and 50 schools from 14 countries.
Following the success of te event, Global Leap is organising another international video-conferencing session between October 29 and November 13. The event is more ambitious than the original, and there are plans to beam whole lessons around the globe.
