Go to the naughty step

Oh dear. Perhaps the writer of last week’s “On the naughty step” about Valentine’s Day should himherself be placed on it. I rather think that any secondary pupil asked to “conjugate the verb amour” would have a problem as it’s a noun, as any fule kno, rather than the verb “aimer”, which might be possible. Next time, perhaps a dictionary could be used?
