Gove the revolutionary

Is Michael Gove the most subversive member of the government? He demolished the Tory policy foundation stone by accepting that competition (between exam boards) did not raise standards. Now he appears to be nationalising fee-paying schools: Batley Grammar, Bradford Girls’ Grammar and the King’s School, Tynemouth, among others, will no longer have to get by with parental contributions but can rely on the generous resources of the nanny state. Keep up the good work, comrade Michael.
