An Irish family who leave everything behind as they try to start a new life in the United States is the subject of Jim Sheridan’s poignant and life-affirming film In America.Starring Samantha Morton and Paddy Considine, the film is partly based on Sheridan’s own experience, and details the family’s attempts to find their feet in modern-day Manhattan.
In America is released to rent or buy on DVD and video by Twentieth Century Fox Home entertainment on March 15. The TES has two copies of each format to give away.
