The Millennium Commission has announced grants totalling nearly Pounds 750,000 to fund a term’s sabbatical study for 75 religious education teachers.
The awards will be administered by the Oxford-based Farmington Institute. They will be available to primary teachers and spread over three years starting next year.
The institute has been awarding its own Farmington Fellowships to secondary school teachers since 1989.
