The PrintIT! Scotland programme for schools, a vocational learning initiative led by the Scottish Qualifications Authority and the industryemployer organisation Proskills, is looking for further entries.
So far, 81 schools have registered. The programme is aimed at supporting teachers of Standard grade and Intermediate 1 and 2 graphic communication.
Students are asked to design promotional and display materials to promote the Fairtrade Foundation and its products.
The programme also allows access to a “twinning” scheme in which schools are linked to print employers for advice on the project and an insight into the industry.
Teachers can submit their pupils’ best work to a competition. The deadline for submissions is June 30.
