“As a geography teacher in an 11-16 secondary school, we use the AS level as a way of stretching our gifted and talented pupils, so I would be sorry to see it go. However, I would like it to be a stand-alone qualification so that it would not make any difference to where our pupils go to sixth form and what exam board they do there.”
