Independent financial adviser MLP Private Finance is offering the chance to win an iPod. Visitors to the MLP stand will be entered into a raffle, to be drawn on the final afternoon of the show. Three runners-up will win a bottle of champagne.

Secondary teachers can win pound;4,000 in book vouchers courtesy of the Publishing Village. The Secondary Book Prize is open to anyone who registers at the Publishing Village information point.

Minibus madness

Schemes Shop Directory is giving teachers the opportunity to win an LDV Minibus for their school. The draw takes place on the Schemes stand on Saturday 19 March, with nine runners-up prizes also available. More than 2,000 schools have already entered, and entries can be made on the Schemes Shop Directory stand.

Wireless interactive teaching games

Teaching technology worth pound;5,000 is up for grabs, courtesy of the KIT system. The winning school will receive a Kinesthetic, Interactive Teaching system, using wireless game-style handsets to play games based on numeracy, literacy and more. The prize, to be announced in a celebrity draw, will be fully licenced for 12 months.

Software opportunity

Visitors to the Birchfield stand have the chance to win pound;2,000 worth of award-winning software. The draw will be held at 4pm on Saturday 19 March.

Get moving to Move It

Teachers are invited to improve their motivational and creative skills in a prize draw run by Alite Ltd. The training company, which specialises in educational programmes, is offering a free delegate pass to Alite 2005, entitled “Personalising Learning: Creative Approaches”, in Cafe Royal in London. Alite will reimburse the cost of supply cover and travel costs for the winner. Five runners-up prizes of the Move It: Music and Movement collection are also available.

“On Your Marks” offers schools the chance to win PE-based prizes from Edding UK. Prizes will be drawn on May 4 by Olympic 400m runner Derek Redmond: primary schools can win the ultimate sports day, and the secondary winner will receive pound;2,000 for PE equipment. Closing date April 29.
