If you’re looking for a truly international project and your students are interested in Green issues, register for the Annual Green Week competitions run by European Schoolnet. This European Commission project is open to all children aged 6-16 in the enlarged European Union and candidate countries.

It’s part of the annual Green Week conference which takes place in Brussels, June 1-4, and this year it’s highlighting the 25th anniversary of the Birds Directive. Younger children can submit drawings and paintings with bird themes while older students are invited to contribute photographs of birds in their natural habitats.
