If you find Blu-Tack too messy and drawing pins too dangerous for young hands, Gripping Stuff Poster Pads could solve your hanging dilemmas. The pads, which look a bit like squares of sticky felt, can be used to stick cards, notices and posters to a variety of flat and curved surfaces. The pads are reusable and leave no marks on furnitre or walls, and the adhesive should be good for at least a year. The individual pads measure 5cm x 5cm and are available in 100-pad rolls for pound;5.25.

Gripping Stuff Poster Pads are available from DIY and hardware outlets including Bamp;Q, Robert Dyas, Great Mills and Focus Do It All.

Tom Deveson and Yolanda Brooks
