A police officer has joined forces with a Hampshire secondary school to produce a pedal-powered patrol car.
PC Keith Waller has been working with pupils from Ringwood School to make the vehicle for the annual pedal car grand prix, which races a course through the town each July.
Technology students from Years 11 and 12 designed and built the body of the car, which will have police livery and be fitted with a two-tone siren and flashing lights donated by the Hampshire force.
The event will help to raise money for the school’s jubilee fund. dm.
