(Photograph) - Handling Children’s Behaviour - a parent’s guide is a new booklet from NCH Action For Children. It suggests practical ways of dealing with children in a range of situations from temper tantrums to stealing, with illustrated examples of how the ideas work. Written by Graham Finch, who has spent a decade working with parents at an NCH family centre in the Midlands, the booklet shows how parents can start changing their children’s behaviour by concentrating on the positive rather than the negative.

It provides exercises for parents to follow dealing with issues like families and rules, giving praise, and understanding why children do the things they do.Handling Children’s Behaviour costs Pounds 1 and is available by ringing 01203 256611.
