What a relief to read the accurate piece about us (“A week in education”, TES, January 9). It was a difficult week for us after all the media coverage and I feel so much better knowing somebody understands what we are doing. We are trying hard to provide positive learning experiences for children and families. Our new school has allowed us to do things in a different way and respond to what pupils, parents and staff told us they wanted.
