Judy Moorhouse has been re-elected as chair of England's General Teaching Council. The Yorkshire teacher and former National Union of Teachers president said she felt privileged to have won the post for a third time, unopposed. She was first elected in 2004. Keith Bartley, the council's chief executive, said: "She chairs meetings with great skill and humour. I look forward to working with her."
