Please excuse the silly question, but if it’s soon to be compulsory for children to stay in education until 18, where do they go once A-levels are done by 16 (“Ministers’ plan for elite: forget GCSE and go straight to A-level”, 18 March)? More A-levels? Degree level assesments?
