Head hits back at free-school plans

A headteacher has threatened to take legal action over a proposed new free school on her doorstep. The Bristol Free School, which is set to open in September, is being opposed by Clare Bradford, principal at nearby Henbury School, which she believes would lose out on students and funding as a result. She has written to the Department for Education, saying she will seek a judicial review if the plans are formally approved.
