Heads attack ‘middle-class’ Sats

Heads in England have launched a fresh attack on Sats tests, amid concerns that this year’s papers favoured middle-class pupils. Heads’ union the NAHT said texts used material which favoured children whose parents regularly take them out on trips and have homes full of books. The Government has ordered an independent review.
