Pupil participation at Gravesend grammar school (TES, February 27) is to be praised. Save the Children works in many ways to ensure children and young people can participate in the decision-making processes of school, through councils, circle time or consultations. We hope new guidance from the Department for Education and Skills will help schools develop good practices.
