Helpline for homework

The Welsh Language Board is setting up a homework helpline to give practical advice to English-speaking parents who have chosen Welsh-medium education for their children. Funding is coming from a pound;6.6 million grant programme aimed at promoting the language. More than pound;2.7m will be spent on Athrawon Bro teams, which help primary and secondary teachers in teaching first and second-language Welsh to children across Wales.
