SCIENTISTS have found evidence that dyslexia is a hereditary condition. The discovery will allow it to be diagnosed at a younger age, reducing the number of pupils left to struggle in class while their needs go unrecognised. Five per cent of children suffer from dyslexia but only 11 per cent of them receive specialised treatment.
