Heroes treated with contempt

I REALLY think that we, the reviled schools with less than 25 per cent of 5 A* to C GCSE grades, need to start shouting back.

I can’t believe how my colleagues, working heroically and creatively with radically disadvantaged youngsters, can be treated with such contempt and disdain.

nd I’m damned if I can see how the Secretary of State’s denunciation will now help us to recruit a music teacher of the quality that our youngsters so desperately need.
