More than seven out of 10 young people (72 per cent) between the ages of 11 and 16 think they will leave school with Highers and two-thirds hope to go to university. Three in five 17-25s (58 per cent) believe that school prepared them for what they do now, according to a Mori poll of more than 3,000 young people for Youthlink Scotland.
