Bill Fordyce, former director in Dumfries and Galloway, is temporarily to run the Scottish School Board Association following the suspension on full pay of Ann Hill, the association’s chief executive. An iternal investigation of claims that Mrs Hill was paid nearly pound;800 a month for providing school computer services for which there was no longer a market is expected to take “two to three weeks”.
