A board game promoting Scotland’s heritage has been produced by the 1745 Trading Company. Scottish Quest will, it says, “educate, enlighten and entertain” players about different aspects of Scottish history, culture, nature and the modern environment.

The game, which costs pound;40, involves a tour of Scotland, answering multiple choice questions along the way. The company emphasises that the game is educational and will appeal to 16-year-olds and older players. “It is filled with fascinating facts and figures about the history as well as the changing and modern times of Scotland,” it says.
