Fairtrade for farmers

Do your pupils hate their school uniform? Now they can design a new one. The Fairtrade Foundation’s Cotton Uniform of the Future competition asks pupils to create a design that shows their understanding of Fairtrade. They should think about where the fabrics would come from and how the uniform would reflect Fairtrade values. An explanation of the design should be included.

How to enter

Entries should be sent by 26 October to: Fairtrade Cotton Uniform of the Future Competition, Schools Team, Fairtrade Foundation, Ibex House, 42-47 Minories, London EC3N 1DY. The winner will be visited at their school by a Fairtrade producer. For more information, see www.fairtrade.org.uksteps

What else?

The competition is just one element of the Fairtrade Foundation’s Step Back to School in Fairtrade Cotton campaign. For more including videos and lesson plans, check out their profile on TES Resources.
