Pity the Professional Association of Teachers whose Scottish newsletter records the retirement of deputy general secretary David Jones after 11 years’ “invaluable” service.
Er no. A note with the newsletter points out that Jones is back. The general secretary, John Andrews, has precipitately parted company and Jones becomes acting general secretary.
