ALMOST 50 per cent of Britons have access to a computer at home. Of these, 28 per cent share them with children under 15, according to a Department for Trade and Industry survey. Is IT for All? reveals that home PCs are used more for education and games than work and 16 per cent have Internet access. Of the 3,103 people surveyed, 68 per cent identified cost as the main barrier to using ICT and 51 per cent said they would use technology more if they knew how it could make their lives easier. www.itforall.org.uk
